For a gaming notebook with 17.3-inch display the Aorus X7 DT v7 is relatively easy and comparatively flat with a weight of 3.2 kilograms with a maximum height of 2.5 centimeters. With a width of over 40 centimeters fit while at the same time not in a backpack, but a 17.3-inch notebook should already be rarely used as a regular companion.

The processing of the X7 DT v7 is at a good level. Sharp edges, too easily yielding or even creaking components do not exist in our very stable overall acting tester. but the surfaces are somewhat prone to fingerprints, despite the generally held matt optics.

The operation of the mouse pointer is thanks to the large, precise touchpad with a pleasant surface structure well out of hand, but the two mouse buttons could trigger crisp. The stroke of the keyboard keys is like notebooks usual due to the flat design, very short, the trigger is a little too concise or intrusive feedback in this case for our taste.
