What a start! Prey starts so so clever that I almost burst with joy on the sly questions and answers that would present me the game in a row. And then I was disappointed a tiny bit, because you then again chosen only the obvious variants. Well, after all, logical variants that can not say every game on its own, too.
Prey me talk about 20 hours good (minus the times when I went to the frustration screaming in the basement). Had I really made every single side mission, certainly longer. Even late in the campaign could get the game always surprise, "Wow, that's all well! Oh my God, why I did not do this before? "If we can understand Prey as mechanics adventure land, then it makes things right. If you want to experience Prey as an adventure story, one can starve a bit on the long arm the game. I ultimately decided on the mechanics.
I like simple, this "Great scenery with a lot of freedom and story snippets" games. Whether underwater ideology as in Bioshock, transhumanist dystopia like Deus Ex or magic steampunk in Dishonored - as long as I explore and experiment may, I'm happy. Both needs satisfied Prey quite outstanding. In the laboratories and offices of Talos one I find countless references to the events there. And because all mails and notes are first written or spoken, makes it really fun, so to puzzeln the story together.
And by the way, I discover also the necessary material for my second passion, experimenting while exploring. improve turrets and place, repair machines, build traps, just as I imagine the struggle to survive on an alien-infested space station before. These aliens are then really my only major criticism. Especially the erratic acting, suddenly appearing Mimics nerve at some point quite well. Especially since one does not always find all the critters with Morgans Psychoskop and then quite startled when one suddenly finds himself surrounded by the black tormentors. But well, that would be on a real overrun by aliens space station probably just.
